Dance!

Friday, August 27, 2010

My post titles aren’t that original lately (have they every been?) but that’s no thing to worry about when I got 2 things to share with you from (upcoming) Belgian talents! First up is a mixtape made by Supreems, Antwerp based Dj’s that made a killer mixtape! Already making people dance on Laudry Day (2nd time this year!) and 10 days off or in clubs like Make Up and Noxxx, these guys got the right references. They send us a mixtape and I loved it from the first second, what a great intro track! Some minimal and house beats mixed in a very smooth way! These guys know how to select tracks for an awesome mixtape! Loved it and now you will too! Check it out and give these guys some love:

Supreems – Holiday Mixtape n°2

Second talent is Keire, which you might already know from his collab with DJVC. After mentioning this name you should already know: I’m presenting you some dubstep music. Some great and hard basses with some twisting sound, it all sounds great! Have a listen:

Keire – Death Physics

Enjoy these two and support these guys!

As a bonus, Tiga gives you his remix of “Shelter” by The XX. He succeeded to keep the dark atmosphere of the XX track but still give it some nice danceable beats. Enter your e-mail and get it for free:

Face Mud.

Wednesday, August 25, 2010

The guys from S*** Happens made some nice progress and a great switch in style. Starting with their OK Mash-ups based on Pon de Floor, they changed and got more hardcore with some heavy dubstep and drum n bass! They’ve put some tracks on their soundcloud, some are still to be mastered but from hearing what’s already online, those tracks will be pure awesomeness! “Face Mud” gives you one of the craziest dubstep tracks I’ve heard this year (okay that’s not a lot but from what I’ve heard, this one kicks ass). Shit Happens made this track together with the talented DJVC and it will probably be released on the DVS label. It’s not just some wobbly bass, this shit is hard! Another great track is “Soft Ice”, a laidback drum and bass track with a wobbly vibe, tight drums and a great groove. If you want a free download by these guys, check out their remix from classic track “Kung Fu Fighting”

Some electro tracks we’ve found in our mailbox, keep sending!

Dicknasty! – Not a club mix

Dicknasty already made some nice partytracks, nog he’s back with some cool new stuff. Our favourite new track: “Not a club mix”, some synths which start of normal but after a while start to flip and go crazy, and even get really dirty and hard at 1.16. Loving it!

Swedish House Mafia – One (Sean Linman GET UP! Bootleg)

Sean Linman edited the biggest summerhit this year “One”, he didn’t change much but what he did made it supereffective to get a party started!

DJVC ft. Wonkap – All ’bout Money

Some big dubstep tune by DJVC, this time featering Wonkap. Typical hard dubstep rythms starting, climax coming up and then: hell breaks focking lose! This one is HARD! and this guys is talented, loving it!

Nudge Nudge Nudge vs Katrina and the Waves – Walking on Sunshine remix

Our favourite Polish producer Nudge Nudge Nudge is back with another great remix! This time he threw “Walking on Sunshine” by Katrina and the waves in the blender, you won’t recognise this song, but it’s a really great remix. Laidback but happy, a great summer soundtrack. If you like this remix, you can vote for it here

Monseigneur XIV – Heartphones

Closing this post with the best track we got this week, “Heartphones” by belgian brothers Monseigneur XIV. These guys make some electronic music from time to time and with this track they did a great job. Some Drum ‘n Bass rythm, mixed in with a jazzy feeling and some fancy piano tunes. Reminds me of the great classic “Brown Paper Bag” by Roni Size. Get it (here as a download) while we are still allowed to share it with you guys!

Enjoy these!

Cannibal EP.

Monday, June 28, 2010

DJVC is back and this time he’s serious about giving you the best het got. With a free EP he’s giving us some very thight and kick-ass tunes. We already knew the tracks “Italian Stalion” and “Mr. Agressive” but now we got 2 more great tracks! First one is “Cannibal”, a dark (kinda) drum & bass track. Second one is called “Italian Stalion” and gives you some great dubstep. Third one is my favourite from this Ep. “The Ranger” has a kind of experimental beat in the beginning and after a while gets harder and harder and turns into an explosive dubstep track. Great stuff! To close of this nice EP, we get the very cool drum & bass track “Mr. Agressive” which is really good and reminds me of Dirtyphonics! This dude has to keep up the great work, we’re loving his style! Get it here:

5 stars.

Monday, June 28, 2010

Got some nice & fresh electronic tunes for you! Searched the internet to find the most delicious summer- and partytunes and I’m happy to present you 5 tunes which deserve 5 stars, top class!

Villa feat The New Sins-Beats Of Love

The classic track by Nacht Und Nebel in a Villa version. Expect some sunny balearic with some thunder in it. This is a great summertune to get a party started! Everybody calles Villa the new Aeroplane, and we got to agree if they keep on making tracks like this. Just pure awesomeness.

Diplo & Tiesto – C’mon

Genius producer Diplo made a track together with techno god Tiesto and it’s called ‘C’mon’. You can expect some dirty synths, pounding bass and of course a catchy vocal screaming “C’mon”. A summerhit in the club? Guess so, this track will make people go nuts.

Fatboy Slim & Hervé – Machines can do the work (Hervé remix)

A big tune made by to great dj’s Fatboy Slim & Hervé, in a hervé remix! This track is awesome, has a bit of an acid-like flow and keeps on going and going ’till the dancefloor is packed and everybody is shaking their booty! Great stuff right here.

Flux Pavilion – Got 2 Know

A great dubstep tune with even some melody in it! Great to hear a track which would be great in a faster version going so slow it kinda awesome! Have a listen!

Netsky – Secret Agent

Belgian Drum N Bass proud Netsky drops this dancefloorbomb right on time. Festivals starting, every dj is looking for one crazy track to highlight their set and they’ve found it with this “Secret Agent” one!

Just like raindrops.

Thursday, May 13, 2010

We give you now the hottest electro/house/dubstep tracks around. They fall in your lap, just like raindrops…

Basement Jaxx – Raindrops (Louis La Roche Rework)

Louis La Roche gives us one of the best remixes of a Basement Jaxx song, summerish!

Afrojack feat. Sidney Samson – Quacky (Original Mix)

Two famous Dutch Djs making a dancefloorfiller togheter, after the “Donald Duck” moment, hell breaks lose and high tones fill your ears. Maybe a bit to sharp sound but probably another hot dancefloor tune.

Tai – Rocking The Set (Audiofun Remix)

A song with those nice drumbeats and some high “tututu” = dancefloormaterial.

Lady Gaga – Alejandro (Rusko’s Papuseria Remix)

Lady Gaga released a new remix Ep from her song “Alejandro” which contains some stuff by Rusko, Afrojack & Skrillex. Logically Rusko’s remix is the best. Check it out! Lady Dubstep!

Louis La Roche – Missing You (Feat. Ad-Apt)

Another Louis La Roche track, this time he gives us some summerish House music with some rapping over it! We’re loving it!

Professor Green – I Need You Tonight (Gramophonedzie Remix)

Professor Greens hit “I Need You Tonight” got remixed by Gramophonedzie (known from his awesome tune “Why Don’t You”) and gotta say, this is pure love!

Etienne De Crécy – Hope (D.I.M. Remix)

Etienne De Crécy released a new Ep called ‘Hope’ and has some nice remixes on it! Our favourite is by BNR beast D.I.M.! Kick-ass track mate!

That’s it ladies and gentleman! See ya soon with some new stuff!

Heavy!

Thursday, May 13, 2010

Grimer Dizzee Rascal and partyanimals Chase & Status made a track together called “Heavy”. It’s one of the hottest songs around and gotta say it’s really kinda heavy and a hit it will be in the future! You can judge for yourself if you like it, listen to this radio rip:

Dizzee Rascal vs Chase & Status – Heavy

Oh, don’t worry Soda N Suds, we still prefer your ‘Heavy’ track!

Loefah one of the first dubsteppers and also founder of one of the best labels in the scene, Swamp 81, gives us some free and previously unreleased tracks! We give you two tracks, we prefer the remix because that one is really dope! Hot as the sun, baby! Get them now, while they’re hot:

Loefah – Just a Beat

Bugz in the Attic – Booty La La (Loefah Remix)

Peace!

Candy String.

Sunday, May 9, 2010

Belgian beatsmaster DJVC made two new track, and after a first listen they are rusty approved! You can have a listen at his soundcloud, just follow the links below:

DJVC – Candy String

Some slow beats and dubstep grooves, that’s what this song is about! Not the usual wobble but a more sofisticated sound which we appreciate a lot!

DJVC – It’s gonna come from us

Second track has the same dubstep groove which turns halfway into a nice drum ‘n bass beat. This really has an international character. I dare to say, Bar9 or even Caspa could have made this, but I’m just a dubstep noob so don’t mind me… Just check it out and dance, if that is possible on dubstep… Maybe like the folks on the pic above? Don’t know, but what I do know is: DJVC did it again! Nice job dude!

Peace! The rusty blog

EEPT-dj’s

Friday, April 9, 2010

The people behind the great electroblog Et electro pour tous have taken the step towards dj’ ing! They promote themselves like this: “We bring you the tightest electro tracks, perfectly mixed together. On side of that, are we still bringing the best tracks of starting producers ( from belgium or abroad), what makes that the newest tracks reach us before they got played on the radio.” Sound promising and after checking out their Techhousemixtape, gotta say they aren’t lying. It’s a great mix, thumbs up! Check it out for yourself:

EEPT – April Techhouse Mix

And for the lovers of dubstep, they also send us a dubstepmixtape. I don’t like dubstep mixes, so I didn’t check this one out. But I guess this tape will be allright because the other one was da bomb… Judge yourself:

Enjoy these!
