We got something very special from Kiez Beats this week. A preview/teaser from the new Sick boy EP! It’s crazy and awesome, reminds me a bit of Goose (without the singing). Sick Boy, since many Years Host of the famous “Poptrash” Parties in the Netherlands and A&R of BlackLabel Records. In 2010 he will play again the SXSW Festival in the USA beside Boys Noize and lots of other great DJ`s. He released on DIM MAK or Kinetika Records and was asked to remix big Names like Stereoheroes (on Crux), Dirty Disco Youth (on DIM MAK, Kinetika) or Motor (on DIM MAK). His trademark Sound is a Mix of Old Skool House mixed with Nu Skool Rave with a Grunge Composition Style. Now he releases a fantastic EP. The Original Mix of “Energy Blast” is a pure bouncing Grunge- Rave Monster Track and for the EP no others like Tom Deluxx, Jasko (Part of Gooseflesh), Markus Lange & Stereofunk and LaTourette put out some pure Dope Remixes. Monastery, a one piece minimalist project from Texas, began making music around the end of 2008. He makes his own version of post-rock and it’s very nice! Together with Summer of Glaciers (which we made a post about, some days ago), this guy will perform at NX35 festival in Denton. He send us a track called “A Life (for the Lost)” and is featured on his recent release on Flowers/Paranormal St.

Summer Of Glaciers, is the project of Ryan.This guy from San Fransico makes post-rock electronic music and is about to release his first full length album on Ascender Descender Records. He explains: “All the drums are programmed, I am looping and sampling live guitar and bringing in a lot of my influences from things like Burial, Ratatat, and Nosaj Thing.” Sounds like heaven, doesn’t it?
