PlastiK Kitchen is a new Ghent-based Electro/House formation. They try to mix live-drums (Sander B) with beats/samples (Tim from dj-duo Fête Fatale) and they are doing that quite well after hearing some stuff they made. They’re working hard on their first EP and Live-set, and are hoping to release their ‘HouseHold EP’ after the summer. In between they make some edits and remixes. Like their latest remix (one of the Belgian band ‘Black Box Revelation’ with) ‘Do I Know You’. It’s hard, check it out at their soundcloud, where you can download their tracks! I always like it when an electro-remix from a great rocksong sounds awesome, like this one!

The second part of Modek`s “Mumps” EP will drop worldwide tomorrow on all major Webshops! It pops up with crazy Remixes from Sick Boy ( DIM MAK), Ado (Wax:on Records), Berlin famous DJ Team The Sexinvaders and Frag Maddins new rocking Electro Project Chokr. The first part was still released two weeks ago inclusive the Original Mix beside Remixes from French Fries ( Yougunz), who just remixed famous Bart B More for a Release on Sound Pellegrino and climbed the Beatport Top 100 with their first own EP and Antwerps great DJ Team Aerotronic. Blitzbeatz, a duo from belgium, are making some nice electromixtapes and making dancefloors filled on studentparties. Their latest mixtape contains lots of bleeps and some nice kudurostyled tracks. Pretty funky if you ask me. Check out some of their mixtapes on their soundcloud:

I prefer “Die Baby Die” because it’s a smooth mixtape with a nice flow and some real nice bangers. The “Blitzkrieg” mixtape is also nice, but has that stupid Douster “King of the jungle” intro, which I really don’t like… But other choices of tracks are bombing in their mixes! Nice job!

One of the greatest New York bands, The National, give away a free song! It’s called “Bloodbuzz Ohio” and contains all the elements that make The National so great; the deep and beautiful voice from Matt Berninger, the great guitars and the dark mood. Loving it! Check it out:
