N.E.R.D , short for Nobody Ever Really Dies and famous thanks to its superstarmember Pharell Williams, released a new song. Maybe nobody wants to hear it after their really sucky previous album (with that stupid song with the lines: ‘All the girls standing in the line for the bathroom’), but they are back! They got their skills back to make some crazy music like their hit ‘She Wants To Move’. Some nice funky music with a featering by Hitmachine Nelly Furtado. Check it out, this is the hottest track around these days!

He describes this track as “The sounds of the rainforest and some bassline rolled up in swung house beats.” And actually it really sounds like this! Some lovely House music, ideal for some chilling ’till the massive part at 1 min 20! pretty ravy.

Some same stuff right here! Some kicking bass and upset synths in the middle of the song! Has some kind of ‘Flatbeat’ (by Mr. Oizo)sound on it. Really nice!

A bit late but still, this is awesome! It’s the exclusive Beatport Release of the Ed Banger Crew supported Parisian Artist Super Commodore. ”Making My Day” EP, fresh from KIEZ BEATS Records. It will be released worldwide May the 11th. 2010. His style is best described as a mixture of house, electro & breaks. Each Remix had a different approach, from the acidic and heavy bass to vocal techno and French house, as we used to hear back in the late 90’s. The tracks all sound great, some summerish electronic music with a really nice vibe! You can prelisten the Ep here and we can even offer you one of the remixes!

Long time, no blog. But hey, went on a trip and it was awesome. Now some music! Our mailbox is full of emails, thanks for that! will post them from now on, be patient! Kicking it of with Depuis91.  Some nice electronic tracks as usual by these guys! With their previous Ep “Erothiq”, they caught Justice’s and Mr Oizo’s attention. Now they will catch your attention with a track called Athlantiq. Their text they send was so awesome, I just give it to you: ‘We were talking to some labels about releasing this one, but then we realised we won’t become rich by doing so anyway,we decided to give it away for free.’ Awesome! check out this nice electro track!

This is cool: Mumford & Sons recorded two covers! One from the song “I’m not alone” by Calvin Harris and another one called “Cousins” by Vampire Weekend. The one from Calvin Harris is nicely done, except when normally the synths drop, they can’t really beat the original. Their version of “Cousins” is pretty awesome, especially when the drum kicks in. Yesterday was Record Store Day. That means a lot of bands release a special song on this day. Famous band Blur released a new single but all limited edition 7 inch vinyls sold out! Sad news, BUT Blur’s manager Chris Morrison has said it is important that the song was made available to fans legally. “To avoid fans having to illegally obtain an inferior copy of this track from pirate sites – we have made it freely available through the band’s website”. You can download it for free, which is pretty awesome! Get it here!

A sunny day, won’t be long inside before my computer typing a post. So a short one with some cool new tracks!

Hot Chip – She Wolf (Shakira Cover)

Hot Chip covered Shakira’s “She Wolf” for Jo Whiley’s Radio 1 show. When you don’t know the original (like me, before this song), you think this is their own song. They just did their thing with this song and made it awesome! A typical Hot Chip song, Nice!

Theophilus London – Oops (Tweet Cover)

Big new star in hip-hop is Theophilus London from NY. His cover from Tweet contains some big basses and some nice “lazy rapping” and melodic singing. This guy is gonna be big in a while.

Hot Chip – I Feel Bonnie

Another Hot Chip tune to share with you guys! This time a seven-minute remix of ‘I Feel Better’ with Bonnie Will Oldham on vocals. A nice tune for a summerday like this! Check it out.

Big Boi – Shutterbugg

Big Boi from Outkast released his first single from ‘Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty’, dropping July 6. This is an awesome hip-hop track with an amazing beat and a catchy chorus. Not bad at all!

Neon Indian – Sleep Paralysist

Neon Indian made another great track! Some low synth pulses, 8-bit bleeps and dreamy vocals, not bad at all. A nice summerish song to chill out in the garden. What I am going to do right now!

As you might know, Darren Cullen left Shitdisco and started a new project called Age Of Consent. Together with Joe Reeves, they make music, similar to Shitdisco. So you can expect some nice raving poptunes with some nice beats. This Duo is playing on “Fuck You… Brussels” on May 15th in Brussels. If you like Shitdisco, you’ll like Age of Consent.
