I know what you thinking… Is the Rusty Blog being sponsored by Levi, fucking Levi? Well altough I wouldn’t mind receiving free Levi’s jeans, we are not (I mean sponsored). No the reason why I put there logo up here is because they have tought out a great musical concept and it’s called: “Levi’s Pioneer Sessions” and what they do is invite contemporary musicians, like Passion Pit, She and Him, The Kills, Dirty Projectors, Ryan Bingham, The Roots, NAS,… to recraft older songs that inspired their sound or stimulated them to make music. And they are giving away all those songs fo’ free on their website. Also there’s a making of video of every recording… .
